Each ontology can be associated with metadata:
- projects that use the ontology. You can add a new project by specifying its name, URL, institution and contact person, or select one from a list of existing projects.
- categories: the subject field of an ontology can be specified using one or more categories
- tasks
- license models: you can select among various licences
- formality levels: you can select among different formality levels:
- vocabulary (list of words)
- terminology (list of concepts with definitions)
- taxonomy (terminology with subsumption hierarchy)
- axiomatization (ontology with axioms beyond a pure subsumption hierarchy)
